Bill,
I don't know anything about you (I don't think). You seem to have something against me, or maybe just some personal issues that you need to talk to Jesus about. But you know what? I love you. I love that you criticize pretty much all my posts, that's great! I don't see how I "evaded" the issue, but if you took it that way maybe it was because I felt that it needed to be addressed to more than just ONE person.
I am guessing that you are a "Christian," and please correct me if I am wrong on that. I say words like "piss" "freakin" and "crap" and I could really care less if that offends you. You are saved, so who cares...I care more about those who are going to hell than whether or not "Billy" thinks I should say nicer words.
So Bill, thanks for being such a jerk. It's men like you that keep me on my toes.

Bill (if that is your real name) I do not understand why you choose to continue to read Chase's blog if all you are going to do is criticize every post he makes, and do your best to make him feel bad. Obviously, it hasn't worked, but as his wife, it hurts me to read the nasty comments you continue to make. I don't think Jesus would do that... Why don't you just stop reading it if you don't agree with it? Nothing you say is constructive, its just very judgmental, and I don't think that it's your place to judge someone you don't even know. So please, move on...

Chase, my intention was not to discourage you or ruffle anyones feathers. You do a great job here at velocity. But whether pastors(including worship pastors) want to admit it and take responsibility or not they are held to a higher standard. It's true for leaders in corporate america and it's true of leaders/shepherds/pastors in most churches today. I'm not saying it should concern you if I'm offended or not by "pissed" or "freakin" or "crap" but the world is watching too and you never know how they take it. In fact, they also hold us to a higher standard. When I say a higher standard, I'm talking about a higher standard for leaders/pastors as opposed to your average christian worker in a church. That's not my idea, that's just how it is.
Anonymous: truth is that someone who posts under the name of "anonymous" is a coward. It means you ain't got what it takes to come out in the open. I believe if you were a "Scriptural man" you would do a face to face with the person whom you have a problem with. But my take is that Velocity is doing a great job and the enemy is taking a hit. what better way to destroy what is being done for the kingdom than to shoot at your own army and call it "friendly fire."
My real name is bill and I approve this message (but not yours).
Thanks Bill (cycleguy)!
