Well, it's been a few weeks since I have posted anything on here. A lot has happened in the past couple of weeks. Courtney and I have decided to build a home...we just got tired of looking for the "perfect" home and decided that this would be a smarter (and hopefully cheaper) road to travel down.
My band A Ransom Plea has started booking some dates for the summer and fall...and we are still looking for more dates/venues...so if anyone knows of any churches or bands that need some support, please contact us: myspace.com/aransomplea.
Last night, Courtney and I attended the National Day of Prayer meeting in downtown Douglasville (in the square). It was incredible the see all denominations coming together to celebrate Christ and lift Him high. It was great to meet some new people in the community that truly have a heart after God. I pray that us pastors can begin to see things through the eyes of Christ, and not the eyes of our denominational leaders. Everything we do should bring glory and honor to Him, not our churches, or our families, or our denomination, but to Christ.
Join me in praying that this generation of Christ-followers would begin to see the need for unity. That was Christ's prayer for us, that we would be ONE. Let's be one and honor Christ...how amazing would it be to answer one of Jesus' prayers??!! ONE BODY!
